Ph.D Forum Talk on Bayesian Statistics in Accounting Research
In May 2018, I was invited to hold a session at the annual EAA conference. It was designed as to be a gentle, basic motivation and introduction to what Bayesian methods have to offer to Accounting research and was specifically aimed at young accounting researchers who are interested in learning new, robust methods to identify the many latent constructs we deal with in accounting.
You can find a video of my talk and the other, fantastic talks of the PhD forum here.
A github repo with the slides and code to generate all figures can be found here on my github page.
